Terapix Software ZPN HowTo
SExtractor
The suggestions given below may be out of date, and it appears that Sextractor may be changing (or indeed may already have changed) to handle the PVn_n WCS keywords. Please let us know how you get on, and we'll update this page asap.
There are some caveats when running SExtractor on the images. You need to make sure
that the keywords PROJP1, PROJP3, EQUINOX and RADECSYS are properly set
in the headers (see below). Moreover removal of the keywords headers PV?_? may be
necessary as well.
Keyword | Value |
---|---|
PROJP1 | 1.0 |
PROJP3 |
-50.0 |
EQUINOX |
J2000 |
RADECSYS |
FK5 |
Swarp
We've heard (thanks to David Thompson, QMW) that the latest versions of SWARP are working fine with the PVn_n WCS keywords, and that the PROJP keywords may cause problems with versions of SWARP after 2.16.0. We'll update this as soon as we know more.
