The Isaac Newton Telescope

IPHAS was carried out using the 2.5-m Isaac Newton Telescope (INT) on the Observatorio del Roque de Los Muchachos, La Palma in the Canary Islands, Spain. Full details are available at the ING web site - see www.ing.iac.es

The Wide Field Camera

The IPHAS survey is using the Wide Field Camera (WFC) on the INT. Details are available on the ING WFC pages and on the CASU WFS pages.

IPHAS Filters

The transmission profiles of the Hα, Sloan r' and i' filters used in all IPHAS observations are plotted below. The r' and i' filter profiles are plotted as solid lines, whilst the Hα profile is shown dashed. The dotted line is the mean WFC CCD response at the cooled working temperature. These profiles are available in numerical form from the INT/WFC web page.
