Linearity correction issues
This in principle involves solving 32 million independent non-linear
equations. However, current measurements from dome flat sequences
indicate that the system is linear to <1% up to the saturation
regime ie.~40K counts/pixel (though other artefacts such as
channel boundaries appear at ~30K counts/pixel). Although it is
feasible to measure and correct CDS mode non-linearity, it would add
~30s extra CPU overhead to the data processing per MEF and is thus not
carried out.
